vicidialnow new installation. No Calls are coming to Agents

Postby mtmemon » Fri Oct 30, 2009 10:21 am

Hi,

I am new to vicidial, I followed the getting started instructions and installed and configured the vicidialnow. I am using the below versions:

VicidialNOW CE 1.2 md5sum
Asterisk 1.2.30.2

once I completed the installation and configuration, I am able to connect the Ibeam with the server and I am able to make the outbound calls manually on eyebeam. But when I log into the agent interface no live calls are coming through. Below is the CLI while logged into agent screen:

Is your VicidialNOW server behind a firewall or router?

Well I would check the following:
Database (connection to database, values and leads)
    Leads definition
    Campaign definition
    User definition
Phone definition (be very careful with this)
    Server definition
    Phone number format
    Carrier (if you need one)
Sip (sip show peers on asterisk will help you see if your SIP phones and Trunks are properly configured; sip show register will help you if you have a trunk registered with SIP telco)

When I had this error it used to be a miss configuration in Carrier definitio and Phones.

Hope this helps

Please post your Vicidial version and build (not the same as your VicidialNOW version) and state whether there is any OTHER software installed (have to ask). Excellent that you posted what you did, though, thanks. Since you DID, I know enough to start here:

A few questions: Can you dial manually? (After logging in as an agent, in a Manual Dial Campaign) When you log in as an agent, do you hear "You are the only person in this conference"? Have you verified that your SIP trunk is working in any other method, through this asterisk server (like by dialing directly through asterisk with your IBeam softphone, not directly from IBeam to the SIP Carrier, but through Asterisk with IBeam)?

After that is answered, I'll probably want to see your vicidial logs (/var/log/astguiclient) as well as your carrier setup (are you using _91NXXNXXXXXX? try 8 instead)

run the AST_VDauto_dial.pl and check is it working or showing any error.

truncate the vicidial_auto_calls tables once.

post your extension file and also make the dial level as a "0"(manual) and check whether vicidial is througing the call or not
