hi, got problem on my vicidial setup--agents doing predictive dialing and when someone do manual dial using the manual button on agent interface, agent can do live and when other agent also want to dial manual calls are drop:

manual dial can do single call only if someone is using it, it wont allow call are getting drop on the secodn, third caller.

Any idea on this: and also i cant see the log coz its so fast.

Im doing Vicidial 2.2
2 server= asterisk/vicidial & apache/Mysql
asterisk 1.4
using softphones, VOIP trunk

What CLI says when you Dial Manually from the Dialer ?

AND

What CLI says when you Dial Manually from the softphone ?

One thing to look at is if the campaign that is dropping has the add 9 dial out option. Usually for a manual call you will need to put 9+1 then the 10 digit number (for US & CA).

What kind of phone lines are you using?

How are they configured?

PostPosted: Fri Nov 06, 2009 3:41 pm
by ruben23
mflorell:

Im using VOIP trunk:
SIP and softphones

They are configured on my sip.conf;

[voiptelco]
type=peer
host=sip.voip.com
username=xxxxxxxx
secret=xxxxxxxxxxxx
fromuser=xxxxxxxxxx
disallow=all
allow=g729
allow=ulaw
canreinvite=no
dtmfmode=rfc2833
qualify=1000

then i add it up on my extensions.conf:

[globals]
CONSOLE=Console/dsp ; Console interface for demo
TRUNK=SIP/voiptelco ; Trunk interface
TRUNKX=SIP/voiptelco ; 2nd trunk interface
TRUNKIAX=IAX2/ASTtest1:test@10.10.10.16:4569 ; IAX trunk interface
TRUNKIAX1=IAX2/ASTtest1:test@10.10.10.16:4569 ; IAX trunk interface
TRUNKBINFONE=IAX2/1112223333:PASSWORD@iax.binfone.com ; IAX trunk interface
SIPtrunk=SIP/1234:PASSWORD@sip.provider.net ; SIP trunk
TRUNKloop = IAX2/ASTloop:test@127.0.0.1:40569 ; used for blind monitoring
TRUNKblind = IAX2/ASTblind:test@127.0.0.1:41569 ; used for testing

Thats all what i did..it doing predictive dialing now at 3.0 ratio and doing good but when agent sometimes make manual call on the agent page there, with a mobile number they are getting drop..numbers like this;
8018986995
5616256106
5132447423

Logically, if its UK, then we may have presumed that yr VOIP provider is blocking your calls as UK Mobile rates are very high.

But in USA, it flat rate.

Now, if your dialer can dial and throw landline numbers easily and smoothly, then there is no reason it shldn't do the same with mobile.

8887698981

Its a toll free number and due to high cost in Toll in VOIP , VOIP provider generally blocks it.

Can u try those 3 numbers and send the CLI ?

If you are wanting to dial out SIP then you have something configured wrong, this is trying to dial out a Zap channel(POTS or T1/E1):

WARNING[23505]: app_dial.c:1183 dial_exec_full: Unable to create channel of type 'Zap' (cause 0 - Unknown)

in extensions.conf, there is a "hard-coded" _91NXXNXXXXXX extension dial plan which points to Zap. it should be commented out to use dial 9 service elsewhere.

alternately, you can change yours to dial 8 service (_81NXXNXXXXXX dial plan and "8" in the campaign).

Known bug. Search for it, there's a lot of commentary on it in the forums.

its actually working on predictive dialing doing outbound, it just when agent do callbacks and do manual dial on agents web interface, call are getting drop and i have this on log:

[Nov 5 20:24:56] -- Executing [918887698981@default:2] Dial("Local/8600051@default-79d4,1", "Zap/g2/18887698981||To") in new stack
[Nov 5 20:24:56] WARNING[23505]: app_dial.c:1183 dial_exec_full: Unable to create channel of type 'Zap' (cause 0 - Unknown)
[Nov 5 20:24:56] == Everyone is busy/congested at this time (1:0/0/1)
[Nov 5 20:24:56] -- Executing [918887698981@default:3] Hangup("Local/8600051@default-79d4,1", "") in new stack

Its doing ZAP dial which i never configured, where on the dial plan i can check the extensions of manual call on agent web interface...?

either in your carrier in the gui or in extensions.conf "918887698981" is being sent to a zap channel.

so check all your carriers for _91NXXNXXXXXX or any other patterns that may match "918887698981", then re-check extensions.conf, and just to be funny you can check extensions-vicidial.conf as well (but that's the file that gets written by the GUI, so if it's in there you may fix it but you may have to search for the GUI entry that's causing it).

pretty much specifies that it is translating 918887698981 to a need to dial Zap. It has to be either a specific extension or a pattern match to get it there. and it has to be in extensions.conf or another .conf that is included (which would be extensions-vicidial.conf and possibly others, depending on your setup).

asterisk doesn't "guess". it either matches an extension or a pattern ... or it FAILS and refuses to dial at all. (which is likely the case for a remote agent help thread i've got running elsewhere right now ... it must match something to dial out).
