SIP phones will not reister at my office HELP

Postby ums2009 » Thu Nov 05, 2009 10:51 am

So here is my situation and I need help PLEASE!!
I am using vicidial VERSION: 2.0.5-203 BUILD: 90323-1554
I have my server at a remote location (my house running fios 20up/50down)

At my house I can have as many people as i like logged in on xlite softphones using sip but at my office the sip softphone will not register. I managed to get one station to register but no others will register. When I use IAX softphone I have no problems at all but we lose quality for some reason. Zoiper IAX always seems to lack quality for some reason.

The funny thing is that I have previously used the sip phones in my office and it worked perfect but since we left the office and moved back in we no longer are able to use sip softphone. Any help would be great. Also if you can help me get this working properly please email me at ralcalde@fixmyenergycot.com THANKS IN ADVANCE

This could be several different things. What country are you in?
The suggestion to view the CLI is the best starting point.

Sounds like a possible firewall issue.

1) please check if the fire wall is blocking or not ?

2) this is also happen due to voice port block by the internet connection provider .
