I have setup a few vicidial servers and all of them were setup on-site, now I am trying to setup another one for someone else and they want to do a lot of agents so I am setting the dialer up in a colo and having the agents dial into it via the agent_dial_in script. But we are having a lot of problems with this setup because it looks like dialer is using a whole lot more bandwidth than i expected. I am using 729 across the board and they have 20 agents running on ratio 4, I am using iftop for the public interface and it shows the bandwidth usage is close to 4 Mb. I find that crazy. And then the problem the agents are having is the webpage does not load for them and not all of them can login at the same time.
Does anyone have any stats on how much bandwidth the webpage(http) sessions use? I know 729 is not using all that bandwidth, its too much.

from the colo to the office there are about 8 hops and ping times are in the 20's so its not bad i didn't check to see how much bandwidht when idle so i will have to see. the agents are just going over the public internet to connect to the colo.

well i found out the problem was at the colo not giving us enough bandwidth. we are using around 4 to 5mb for our current setup.
