Strange issues with softphones NEED HELP!

I am having a problem using my xlite softphones. I am using vicibox and I have xlit on about 10 computers and it works fine on about 4 the issue occurs when i try to log the fith agent in to vicidial. The xlite rings but when the agent answers they cannot hear the "your the only person in this conference" message. The cli shows that the message is playing but the agent hears nothing. The starange thing is when I use zoiper softphone on the same computer it works fine and plays the message. Why would it work on zoiper but not on xlite. We need all of our xlite phones working as I paid for the licensing and we have additional quality and user problems with the zoiper sofphone. Any help would be great. Let me know. THANKS!

If you have call quality issues with Zoiper but not with Xlite, there's something else wrong. Are they both using SIP or do you switch to IAX when you switch to Zoiper? Do you use the same codec for both phones?

(You paid for xlite? really? I've heard of this ...)

Are your agents in the same network as your Vicidial server or are they going through a firewall to get to it?

I was experiencing a similar issue.

First of all, xlite is a free softphone so I think you might paid for a XTen softphone.

Anyway, chances are your softphones are not getting registered because are configured to use g729 codec. Try using g711u instead and see what happens ... it worked for me.
