this would better have matched "general discussion" rather than "support", but here goes:
A closer does not talk directly to the "Prospect" until AFTER a Fronter has sent the prospect to them.
A Fronter will be first contact with Prospects. After a Fronter has determined that there is a sale (or a possible sale) the Fronter will (if needed, because the Fronter couldn't close) transfer the call to a Closer in an attempt to Close a sale that they may otherwise not quite be able to sell.
That's one method. There are others (some rooms require sending the call through a closer before terminating regardless of sale, for instance, and some use the closer to record a "sale contract" regardless), but the concept is roughly the same: Prospect's initial contact is with Fronter, only get to a Closer if transferred to one by the Fronter.
So if you log in with "outbound dialing" activated, you're a fronter. If you log in WITHOUT outbound dialing ... you're a closer and will only get calls from Fronter transfers.
The next exception to the rule is INBOUND calls. Most rooms ship INBOUND straight to a closer, since they are not cold calls and should be ready to close (after all, they called you ...)
