SugarCRM is not completely open source, so we cannot fully integrate with it like we can with Vtiger without paying for licenses, and nobody has offered to give us licenses and pay for integration with SugarCRM like we were paid to do the in-depth integration we have done with Vtiger.

The SugarCRM code is much more complex due to their licensing restrictions, and you are missing several features in SugarCRM-free-version that you have in Vtiger like Quotes, customer portal and several others. Also, Vtiger loads faster and is faster from page to page than SugarCRM.
