New Required Fields feature

Postby dspaan » Sun Mar 12, 2017 8:28 pm

Saw this in the svn notes:

18. Added option for custom list fields to be required for all calls or only
inbound calls. Will prevent agent hanging up call if field is not filled
in. Must also have campaign option enabled for it to work. Will work for
the following custom field types:
TEXT, AREA, DATE, SELECT, MULTI, RADIO, CHECKBOX

Just wanted to suggest to be able to enable this for SALE=Y statuses. Because on sales are the moments you want an agent to force fillout specific fields, not when people are not interested.

This is currently triggered on the hangup, after which point you can't edit any of the fields on the call, so that won't really work, since the last thing you do is select a dispo.

Oh of course. What would be really needed is a survey like feature. Is something like that in the planning? What i mean is a series of questions with skip logic.

Most of our clients that need a robust survey system will use LimeSurvey.

Yeah i use that too but it has two downsides:

-you have to load leads twice, in lime and in vici
-once a survey is running in lime, you can't make certain changes. like add or remove questions.
