Predictive Dialing not working but manual dial works

PostPosted: Wed Jun 22, 2011 9:44 am

I installed GoAUtoDial. I setup an outbound campaign. When I use "MANUAL" method everything works fine it dials out and connect the call to the agent. But when I use Predictive (either RATIO or ADAPT) it dials out but it never connects the call to the agent.

Here are the logs of what happen

How about the dialplan for that carrier. I see a line that confuses me. 8)
[Jun 30 11:48:27] -- Executing [18773444861@default:1] AGI("Local/8600051@default-8f0e,1", "agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log") in new stack

Also:

when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation

Ah I just changed the IP from 192.168.0.40 to 10.1.10.83 but they are just the same.

? but these were made one after the other and one worked but one didn't.

HOW did one end up at a different IP address?

try again with "working" and then "not working" (manual and then auto) without any changes to the system other than one call being manual and one being auto.

I do not know what is wrong with this. Can you help me find out what is the issue? Thanks!

Have you ever changed the IP address on this machine? If so, did you run the ip update script?

Did you get SOUND in both directions on that successful manual dial call (both directions!)?

have you made any OTHER changes on this system after installation (firewall, dialplan, anything outside the addition of a carrier, campaign, list and registering a phone ...?)

Yes I did issue the command to update the IP for GoAutoDial and do a reboot of the whole server as well just to be sure.

Yes I get two way audio on manual dial.

There were no changes on the internal (dialplan or firewall etc.). What is weird is that call connects on Manual but does not on auto dialing although it does dial. It is just that it does not connect the call to the agent.

Also would it be ok if you can view my settings via teamviewer to check?

I am almost breaking my head just to make it work.

Exactly what command did you issue?

Have you ever modified the Vicidial version? (Updates, etc?)

Our pricing is available on our website.

Gardo built your install .iso, and could likely fix it in less than 1 minute. ;) (But he's not exactly cheap either!).

The Vicidial Group of course could fix it in 30 seconds (LOL), but once again, not cheap. 8)

longshot. Can you try SIP instead?

if you want to actually troubleshoot it, you'll need to use agi debug (and possibly sip debug) to examine the logic behind what is happening.

this information may also be available in the /var/log/astguiclient folder

May I know why does it not connect the call to the agent on predictive but it does on manual dial? Also I enabled agi debug here is the output

Can somebody there help me out to be able to have this work? What must I do or what else should I check. The manual dial works. On auto dial it does dial out it is just that it does not connect the call to the agent. Have I missed something can somebody there show me sample config or settings to have? Thanks to all of you guys. Sorry I do not have money, so I just rely on advises here. =)

Free solution: backup your database, reinstall the same version of GoAutoDial. Get it up and autodialing ... then "carefully" reapply your database and see if you break it (if not, you'll have to work slowly through it and find out WHAT breaks the functionality!).

Never fear the reinstall.

Of course, if you are nervous about it, you could always try a reinstall on a different machine (even a virtual one, just for testing) to avoid damaging your production box.

Ok I did a fresh re-install. But it is still doing the same. Can somebody give me an idea what is wrong?

Hi Sir,
Do you have a fix for this issue? or any clue what may be the issue?
As I was having connectivity issue with predictive dialing but connects fine with manual dial.

Really appreciate your help.

Thanks.

1) Welcome to the Party! 8-)

2) As you are obviously new here, I have some suggestions to help us all help you:

When you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method (7.X.X?) and vicidial version with build (VERSION: 2.X-XXXx ... BUILD: #####-####).

If your installation method is "manual/from scratch" you must post your operating system with version (and the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system) plus a link to the installation instructions you used. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600

3) What you are describing is a common problem that can have many causes. You should post some asterisk CLI output to show your problem. And perhaps some other information such as: Has this server's IP ever been changed? Is this a fresh install or a previously working one? Is this problem limited to one campaign or perhaps one carrier?
