Hello everyone,

We are using RHEL 5.5 server in our setup. I realised that the new interface of Vicidial comes only with the complete centos platform.

Is there a way to get that version of vicidial? It has much neater GUI.

GoAutoDial is an installer for Vicidial. It installs in CentOS and has a slightly modified interface. It ALSO includes the standard interface because it is still "Vicidial" (which is the actual Predictive Autodial software). It happens to have a very nice alternative Agent Interface borrowed from another company that paid to have it designed.

That being said: To use this cool interface, you need simply copy it to your Vicidial server ... the trick being that it has to be of the correct version (That interface has not been upgraded to the "Latest" Vicidial version).

So if you have Vicidial fully installed you can "Match" your version to that of the GoAutoDial installer and then you'll be able to use that pretty interface.

When in doubt, try a VMWare install of GoAutoDial and you'll be able to compare versions and copy files. The /agc/ or /agc2/ or /agcnew/ (I haven't done it in a while ...) folder is what you'll want to copy.

Virtulizing it right away.

If following this, read the below note.

Replacing the files in your www directory with the cool interface does not work. The database has many changes and you will need to fix that by taking a database dump from a box running goautodial...

More to come...
