Hi Awesome peeps, I'm a vici-noob. but i know basic asterisk and linux. Trying to figure things out for my required vici-configuration. Currently my vicidial is installed on a vps. It has the carrier & press one autodial campaign with defualt AMD up and running.

I'm trying to setup key-press 2,3,4..... to route the calls to just any random available agent( Ultimate purpose is to get sales for different products that i'm offering on different key-presses just to make it fancy and heard). So basically after AMD filter, i want call transfer to take place after the client has listened to the complete survey audio file and pressed any random key between 1-8.

Please suggest the easiest way to get this configuration. A detailed guide or link to a detailed configuration will be helpful.
I believe just any and all version does and must support this. It's just many of us are not aware how to get this done since i've done quiet a lot on internet digging for this. Thanks in Advance.

1) Welcome to the Party! 8-)

2) As you are obviously new here, I have some suggestions to help us all help you:

When you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method (7.X.X?) and vicidial version with build (VERSION: 2.X-XXXx ... BUILD: #####-####).

This IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "manual/from scratch" you must post your operating system with version (and the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system) plus a link to the installation instructions you used. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600

3) Survey configuration is covered in the Vicidial Manager's Manual ... have you Read It? lol

4) Survey DTMF Digits controls accepted values. Accepted values will initiate the "Survey Method". If you want more precision in the future (different values to different Ingroup/Queues) consider either an initial button press to verify they want to listen or "are there" or whatever, which will transfer them to a Survey Method of "Call Menu". Once in a call menu, you can easily set which values/options go to which destination.

5) If you don't want the initial button press qualifier, just set the recording to silence, wait seconds to 1, and send the calls to a call menu immediately.
