Upgrading ViciBox v.7 to OpenSuSE Leap 42.2

WARNING CAUTION DISCLAIMER NOTICE and other words that mean something horribly bad an irreversible could happen.
Doing this OS Distribution Upgrade has the potential to completely brick your system and make it unbootable. If you do NOT need OS updated beyond what ViciBox v.7.0.4 already provides then you can continue on. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest you back up all important data on the server before attempting to follow these instructions.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! PROCEED AT YOUR OWN PERIL!
So now that you have hopefully thought long and hard about doing the OS upgrade, here is how you can perform one:
1) cd /etc/zypp/repos.d
2) sed -i 's/42.1/42.2/g' *.repo
3) zypper refresh (say Yes or Y to any questions about accepting the new repos
4) zypper dup
5) reboot
After it is done installing and goes to reboot it will likely hang due to the large number of packages and init files that have changed. This is somewhat normal as all the services should already be shut down properly but it is missing hooks from the old to the new OS. If it is still hung after 10 minutes then you will need to power cycle the machine. Hopefully there will be no data loss but this ISN'T a guarantee.
After that, it should come up like normal and you are now running OpenSuSE v.42.2 which is still current and supported. You will also be able to install new packages and updates.
