So i just bought a new machine from best buy. A lenovo 3100 with quad core 3.8Mhz processor 12 gig of ram 1 TB hard drive.

Im trying to boot to the CD vicibox 8 cd and i get Not enough memory to load specified image when trying to install.

What should be changed to get the cd to boot properly?

Seems most likely your motherboard is not compatible. Put the .iso in some old PC you have laying around instead. Just boot from it (don't install anything). Preferably something a couple years old (so the drivers will likely be available and compatible with Vicibox 8.0.1, which is a fairly recent OS image). If it boots you have your answer: Not compatible.
