Thanks! If the VB firewall would be documented that would be very usefull. But i will first ask some more questions about it in the thread and do some more testing so you can make a manual that covers every aspect. I have already documented a lot of your forum replies in my personal wiki and will try to make it coherent and share with you later.

You would use ViciBox the same way you've used it for v.8.0 or even v.7.0.

If you can boot from the vicibox .iso remotely, you can install from it in most cases. That depends on the remote KVM options available. Most have a "virtual CD" where you can mount a local .iso image and use it as the CD for booting. But beware: The delay can be horrible. It can literally take over an hour to boot, and another hour (with several multi-minute delays) to get through the entire process.

This is often due to the low speed of the remote access system as it slowly uploads the necessary portions of the CD to the server when they are accessed. IE: You click a button, then go get some lunch while it loads what it needs from the CD over the net. lol

Interesting concept. But then when it updates, this forum's link would be wrong. Thus defeating the purpose of having the link easily available (ie: easily available but wrong is counterproductive).

What about a sticky at the forum that points to that link? So you only concern to update that PDF link at vicibox.com?

You mean like the one entitled "ViciBox Server Install and Demo Forum READ ME FIRST" presently at the top in the "Announcements" box? The first link in that being "Vicibox.com"?

OK I swear I read the whole post and yet missed that underlink...guess I am confused with so many ViciXXXX things.
