Some POTS systems will not accept calls from caller IDs that have the IP Adress in the caller id string!

I have a Caller verification program we need to use. The system is rejecting our phone calls because the internal server IP is in the data string along with the caller id.

The admin caller id is fine on the system pages. Does anyone know how to remove the internal IP of the server?

This is what my info looks like at VOIP provider.

How do you remove the @192.168.1.3 if possible.

Would removing sip config line

bindaddr=0.0.0.0

eliminate this broadcast?

try externip=XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX

or ... :) a better router. or NO router. (then your internal ip would BE your external ip)
