We have added the QC functions that were implemented by PoundTeam and contributed by Affinity On-Call.

It has been added to SVN/trunk as of November 16th, 2012.

Please test it out and enjoy!

Started from this thread:
viewtopic.php?t=5435&highlight=quality+control

Goal:
To finish the Quality Control features as outlined in the QC_PROCESS.txt document, as well as add a component to allow agent review of their own recordings.

Development Stages:
1. Create QC agent interface, complete with Java-based audio playing applet
2. Finish all other portions mentioned in the QC_PROCESS.txt doc
3. Add agent-self-review component

Cost: (this is a very rough estimate)
Estimated at 100 hours (USD $18,000)

Pledged:
$ 3000 - Trying

Hi Matt

I will commit $500 to this feature as well.

Does the agent self review mean that when it was reviewed by the QC agent and they found something to be incorrect they can return it to the Sales Agent to correct? The agent correct the mistake and dispositions it as a sale once again to go into the QC queue?

Yes, that is the idea, the submission to the QC queue is based upon the vicidial_log and vicidial_closer_log table, so if the same call is dispositioned as a sale again it would be put back through the process.

Matt, I am just thinking that it will also be great for a Team Manager to be able to view his agents' "incompletes". What do you think?

I'm sure that is something that could be added.

Add another $500 from me please.

Are there still no other sponsors to complete this feature?

Hi Matt

Is the company who originally sponsored this feature still keen to go ahead? I am willing to contribute another $1 000 but it will be pointless if nobody else is interested.

No, they are not, they ended up propping up their existing system instead. I'll put you down for another $1000, it might help bring more attantion to the project.

Hi Matt. Is it not possible for you to start working on this feature and we see if more people sponsor as we go along? I may also be able to sponsor an amount every month.

We have a backlog of paid development work, and very little time for non-paid work, and most of that time goes to bug fixing. Also, in our priority list, custom fields and Chat IM functionality are ahead of finishing the QC functionality.

No what I meant is that I can pay the $2 000 so long if you wanted to start with the work and then I will be able to contribute every month. So I will pay before you put in the hours that I paid for. Let me know when you guys have time after the other priorities.

Hi Matt

Would you consider developing some basic functionality for the $3 000 I can sponsor? It seems nobody else is going to put money into this.

What components would you deem as essential?

A sale, or whatever other status you choose to be QC'd, goes into a queue for the QC agents. They can review the fields, including custom fields, and the recordings. The QC agent can then commit the "sale" or dispositions it as "incomplete" whereby it is returned to the agent with comments to correct and return the "sale" to QC. There is no need for different levels of QC agents. Is this already way beyond $3 000? :)

Yes, that is pretty much way beyond $3000. Also, I really didn't factor in custom fields into the original assessment of this feature, which will probably add at least another 20 hours with the need to add an audit table that can handle custom fields data.

Then I will have to sell my company to be able to afford the feature...... but if I do that I don't need the feature anymore. :)

Hello there,

pls. can someone give me a small overview what is working so far and what is still missing in the QC system.

I had a rough look on the scripts and the QC_PROCESS.txt and saw that a huge ammount of work is already done and it seems to me that more ore less only the QC agent interface is still missing... ???

I'm sorry that I am not able to spend the money to complete this thing - but maybe - if I find enough time - I can help with some lines of code or so to finish this never ending QC-Story.

William has been working on it for the last year. Basically the entire front-end has not been completed.

I'm thinking if there is no way to implement the functionality into the existing agent interface to go a shortcut here and safe some time...

William is done with the development. As far as I know he is only still left with making the system SVN upgrade proof. I have asked him to share the QC system with the community so hopefully this will happen soon and Matt will also hopefully be happy to integrate it even "tighter". William, when can the rest start using the system?

Define "complete"?

QC has been a part of Vicidial for 7 years.

ok, I thought that this module was not finalized ... so I just have to follow the VICIDIAL manual
QUALITY CONTROL MANUAL v0.5 Beta (-r 72) in the latest version of vicibox ..... is it correct? :)

Thanks! Joe Johnson did most of the work though. He's been working on it off-and-on for the last year.
