Dynamic Good Guys for Vicibox 9

Bill? Matt? Kumba?
Has anyone tried this yet? I feel like the steps would be different than listed on the wiki for v7. Any ideas? If not I guess I could go ahead and try it that way and if I have to make any changes, I could document them for the wiki. Let me know.

In theory vBox 9 has a built-in whitelisting method that can be activated. But since we always use DGG, we haven't tested.
But no, there is not yet an upgrade available for vBox 9 DGG.

OK thank you Bill. Yes i currently use the VB-Firewall option but the problem occurs when a client has a new IP, even through use of the dynamic portal, THAT in itself doesnt add that users IP to the ViciWhite list which then it needs to be added to that and the firewall reloaded in order to allow that user into the system without restarting the entire server.

try to modefied dynaportal change the user level code to 1 instead 8

yea i probably should of updated this, i have gotten it working by donig exactly that bvillar, i had changed the dynportal to 1 instead of 5, great call
