Inbound Caller ID blocking and unblocking

Postby susam » Mon Oct 05, 2020 11:10 am

Hi,
One of my client looking for dialer with 2 points
1) All caller ID blocked only specific caller id will allow for inbound into that server, examples assume these are the phone numbers 1234,4567,6789 only allows for inbound other than all numbers blocked.
2) He wants to block if the customer talk is X minutes. Example 1234 total talk value is 60 minutes after than this caller id will go to blacklisted number or DNC.

I think first point is available, can you show me the path do to do that one?

1) Welcome to the Party! 8-)

2) As you are obviously new here, I have some suggestions to help us all help you:

When you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method (7.X.X?) and vicidial version with build (VERSION: 2.X-XXXx ... BUILD: #####-####).

This IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "manual/from scratch" you must post your operating system with version (and the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system) plus a link to the installation instructions you used. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600

3) To make a decision of where to send a call inbound other than routing all callers to the same place on an inbound number, Vicidial has "Filter URL" in the Modify DID page.

Filter URL -If the Filter Inbound Number field is set to URL then this is the web address of a script that will search a remote system and return a 1 for a match and a 0 for no match. Only two variables are available in the address if you use the VAR prefix like with webform addresses in campaigns, --A--phone_number--B-- and --A--did_pattern--B-- can be used in the URL to indicate the caller ID of the caller and the DID that the customer called in on.

There are several other options on the same page (depending on your Vicidial version), but the Filter URL in conjunction with "Filter URL DID Redirect" will allow you to redirect any inbound caller to any location in your system including hang up (9998811112).

I have something like that for blocking a number. I had a script in disposition but had some errors so I did a script that each 2minutes check numbers and put on these numbers the blacklist, with this you can solve the 2 for 1 William told you

Cheers!
