List ID - How many digits?

Postby edooze » Fri Dec 04, 2020 2:58 am

Hi team,

Quick question. When creating lists via the GUI it says we can have 3-8 digits.

In the API doc it says 2-14 digits.

Can we please get a confirmed answer to this?

Not that there's a sensible reason to have that many digits, but if 14 is the limit, we wil preface test functions with 999 to avoid confusion.

(Version 2.14-778a from SVN. 2x Clustered (dial and DB), quad-core, 4gb RAM each.)
Vicibox 10 from iso

Asterisk 13.38.2-vici
1 x Multi-server & 1 x Dialer/Web from ISO
Virtualised (KVM) - 4 CPU/4GB RAM (Multi) - 2CPU/4GB RAM (dialer/web)
Both SIP & IAX used

first off, your using 13.29.2 with svn version 3330? and your schema should be 1612 i believe for 3330. either way i would at least upgrade asterisk to 13.34.0-vici but as far as the digits go, why not just try it at size 14 and test it at the different sizes? i never go that large but my suggestion would just be to try it yourself and report your findings :-p
