Best Codec for Vicidial - VOIP

I know that using IAX2 is best but is there a codec to go through and what should we use as a marker for bandwidth for each line?

"Best" depends greatly on what your needs are. I think the best is G711ulaw, but that uses a lot of bandwidth.
