Hi guys!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is no predictive + inbound blended 'environment', right? One can only do Inbound-Manual, correct?

Not sure where you heard that, Vicidial operates great with predictive and inbound at the same time, it was built with blended auto-dialing in mind in fact.

Lets see..., by predictive+inbound I mean that an agent can be receiving inbound calls while in an outbound predictive campaign. It was my understanding that I can have a blended campaign only if I run the outbound part of the campaign in manual outbound dial (instead of predictive). ...Am I clear enough? Is it really possible to have an agent be doing predictive outbound and at the same time receive inbound calls from an in-group?

Yes, an agent can be receiving inbound calls while they are logged into a predictive dialing outbound campaign. We have built a lot of logic into the predictive algorithm to handle this well, and we have many clients doing exactly what you described.

Ok. well..., pardon my ignorance as I thought I had read that this was not possible.

Mind me asking, but how do I configure the campaigns to do this?

By getting the manual from www.eflo.net/store.php

Not only you get to learn how to configure your campaigns. You also support the further development of VICIDIAL.

I read the blended environment specific section of the manual and I think I got it going now.... had to read it many time to understand the context, but I think I got it.... I'll let you know if I have problems.

Thanks!
