I was gonna translate gif-images into Swedish and were not able to find out or figure out what font was used in the English files

Can anyone spread some light on this?

I don't really remember, it was probably Arial. Some kind of San-Serif type font would be good.

ok, I went with Arial Bold 10px.
Would like it more bold but the swedish word uses to many characters and I guess I should not edit the size of the box

That looks good to me. Yes, keeping the height and width the same is important.

Verdana bold seemed to have the space between the letters more like the original font.
the letters is looks almost like identical to Arial bold when using such small letters.
