Connecting live calls to a countdown timer

Postby gamelled » Tue Oct 21, 2014 4:39 pm

Hello Everyone:

I'm fairly new to asterisk and vicidial. I helped build a countdown timer that starts once a call is in the queue and when it shows on the agents screen. The problem is we can't seem to get it to connect to a live call. Any help would be appreciated and if you need more info or clarity let me know

Hi,

Whats the purpose of the timer? To let agents know "Hey you have 15 seconds to grab the call." or something like that? What do you mean that you cant seem to connect to a live call?

The timer is to let the agent know how much time they need to keep the caller on the line so that the lead will be qualified a lead. The timer starts when the call hits the queue and when the call hits the screen it shows the agent the time counting down.
