Calculate Connect Rate

Postby IanGP » Fri Apr 26, 2024 8:47 am

VERSION: 2.14-876a
BUILD: 230306-2050

In need some help with calculating Connect Rates on my campaigns.

In my mind Answered means that an actual agent was connected to the call, and Dropped is a call that got passed AMD by no agent was connected.
Is that correct?

Looking at the real-time report....

CALLS TODAY: 97668
DROPPED / ANSWERED: 390.000 / 23130

So (Dropped + Answered) / Calls Today = Connect Rate, right?
In this particular example; (390 + 23130) / 97668 = 0.2408 = 24.08% connect

My intention is to build automated (custom) reports to show Connect Rates per hour, using the vicidial_log table.
Am I on the correct track?

TIA

just enable carrier stats, it will show you the ASR

Thanks Carpenox,

Are you referring to:

Code: Select all
CARRIER STATS:                    HANGUP STATUS        24 HOURS        6 HOURS        1 HOUR        15 MIN        5 MIN        1 MIN
        ANSWER    57252  73.4%   42814  74.4%   8032  78.4%   1784  80.4%   542  79.4%   121  79.6%

If so, that won't work for my purposes, as that system wide, not campaign specific.
And if I understand correctly, ANSWER in the above context would include calls connected to an Answering Device.

Perhaps a better question is what are the definitions of DROPPED / ANSWERED in the Real-Time Report?
