hi im trying to set up my own call center in the uk and ive decided to try using vicidail
hardware
one pc for server to store company files and recordings
dual core athlon 4gb ram 400gb hdd
one pc for asterix and vicidial
2.14ghz
1gb ram
40gb hdd
and i have two laptops which i want to dial from instead of using actual phones i just want a headset into the laptop and it dials
is this possible?????

yes its possible
Instead of trying 2 servers in the intial stage
to have grip on Vicidial
Install all in one Server and understand how this work
then later move to number of servers depends on requirements.
follow the scratch_install ( if you are first time user for linux)
Download X-lite to your laptop
Start dialing
in the install process if you found any problems post here
some can answer you the best
