NEW STRANGE PROBLEM ON vici...

Hi on my other vicidial server running

astguiclient 2.0.4
Asterisk 1.2.24

I was using my vicidial on a regular basis...for our center..when one time we decide to go for manual dial for about 1 week..and after that we will shift into predictive dialing using vici.....

On my testing..i tried to use it...login with my user name then tried to dial...problem is when i dial and click on hangup..it wont hangup..the call still proceeds..on my CLI...no sign of hangup channel..it only hangup when i i try to press the stop button on my softphone...

if in a case i hangup and i proceed with a new call that would be 2 phones ringing..o my headset...the other one i laready hangup is not terminated..

anyone have ideas on this..please help..thanks

I would recommend upgrading to 2.0.5.

hi mflorell...if i upgrade this....i try it on a vicidial lab server but the problem is it change the password and user name....what is its password and how to i check it..please...cant use my production dialler..i already run it...

The upgrade does not change your username or password in any way. Not sure what exactly you are talking about for the rest of it.

if you upgraded without following the upgrade docs properly you may not have access after the upgrade.

not because your name/password changed, but because the system may not be able to authenticate you because it cannot get to the name/password properly. read the upgrade documentation and make sure you upgraded without missing ANY steps.

and always back up your system before you upgrade.
