Call comes in through IAX hits an availible rep, caller asks for a different extension, once the rep transfers the caller to another rep the recording stops and there is no further recording of the call to be found, even through the caller and the new rep had about 15 minutes worth of conversation. THis is happening to all transferred calls. Any ideas?

Here is the floor managers response for what he/she does when transferring.
2 different methods were used when testing.
Blind Transfer
1. I call in to the In-Group
2. The Agent clicks "Transfer - Conf"
3. The Agent enters the agent ID in the "number to call"
4. Then click "blind transfer"
5. The Call is transfered.
2nd Method-Parking the call, then transfering 1. I call in to the In-Group 2. The Agent clicks "Park Call"
3. The Agent enters the agent ID in the "number to call"
4. Then click "blind transfer"
5. The Call is transfered.

If you want to transfer to a specific agent and have ViciDial record it it has to go through the ViciDial process, not just an Asterisk phone. I would suggest that you use an AGENTDIRECT in-group which you can transfer to using the number-to-dial field for the agent ID, then click on LOCAL CLOSER and the call will go into only that agent's in-group(If they are logged into it of course). the all of the call information is transferred with that as well. I believe this is detailed in the Manager Manual.

Matt my post above outlays our process for transferring calls. This is all through ViciDial, what you are saying is that is incorrect? I will try your way. Thanks for the help
