Waiting for ring...

Postby theplen » Wed Oct 28, 2009 2:31 pm

Well I have setup everything as instructed. Everything is going pretty good. I am able to place calls manually through the softphone, but when I try to use vicidial the calls remain in a status of waiting for ring. Please help.

Thanks!

Instructed from where?

Do read stickies:

It seems you've missed to create your trunks properly.

extensions.conf.sample:
; dial a long distance outbound number
; This 'o' Dial flag is VERY important for VICIDIAL on outbound calls
exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,2,Dial(${TRUNKX}/${EXTEN:1},,To)
exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,3,Hangup

Is it really such a pain to post what document you have followed, or using vicibox/vicidialnow, along with the versions of asterisk/vicidial?

You would also need to post bigger piece from your extensions.conf.

Working

Postby theplen » Wed Oct 28, 2009 4:29 pm

Thanks Okli,

I used your suggested dial plan (which was my first dial plan) changed the global string, and restarted the asterisk server. Everything is working fine now.

Thanks!
