noise creating

Hi,

We have setup vicidialNow at four to five locations.
When calling start ( 32 agents login), call is going fine, but sometimes noise comes.
when we check , we see two to three extra channels are locked with this meeme channels. we manually soft hangup of that extra channels. and then call goes fine.
Again after sometimes this problem comes to different different agents at every location.

How to solve this problem???

Here, asterisk version is asterisk-1.2.24
zaptel-1.2.24
astguiclient-2.0.3
We use analog telephone line with XORCOM ASTRIBANK DEVICE for outbound call.

Please guide me that we could solve this problem.

I'm no expert but you could try asterisk version 1.2.30.x I'm not sure if VicidialNOW uses the same version in these things. You might want to ask over in the other forum for VicidialNOW. What sort of Zaptel card do you have for a timer source?

Hi,

Below is the xorcom configuration:-

First of all we install zaptel-1.2.24
For xorcom, libusb, libusb-devel, fxload should be necessary.

*************zaptel and xorcom configuration**********************
#make
#make install
#make -C xpp/utils install
#make config
#modprobe zaptel
#modprobe ztdummy

after that

#service zaptel start

#genzaptelconf -svdM

#echo '#include zapata-channels.conf' >> /etc/asterisk/zapata.conf

************************finished zaptel and xorcom********************************

r u using analogs lines?

if yeah

vicidial sometimes doesnt works fine with analog lines i can sugest to you that try using a t1 line or iax or sip trunk.

note:
if your using any phisic card or hardware u can use this as timer device
and forget ztdummy on ur case

The fact that there is no timing device can definitely cause this issue as well (ztdummy) is not all that accurate.
