The free built-in AMD will do about 70% accuracy, The Sangoma CPA(which requires a separate server, it is not just a card) inclreases that to 95% accuracy, and it also does pre-answer detection like SIT-tone calls and better breakdown of NA calls(No-Answer).

How does vicidial deal with SIT as default? is it NA?

Yes, by default in ViciDial any Non-Answered call(aside from Busys and some Disconnects) are recorded as NA. SIT tones are completely ignored.

@Michael: I did not change the exten as yet, should I change it to what you said?

Also, how to I make it throw calls automatically? I used tapered with dial level of 1.2, it traferred answering machine, I disposed it and then I had to click dial next number. Can't it be automated? By automated I mean, the moment agents dispose the call, they should get next number waiting?

Second query is with regards to answering machine, will vicidial pass all answering machines to agents? Is there anyway to control it?

::Lessons learnt::
1. Check out with service/voip provider for dialplans; they might have a set pattern. If not, you can just request them to tell you how to setup their server in asterisk.
2. Check what all codecs are supported both by your provider and software. Your sip.conf/vicidial admin carrier should have entries of all the codecs which are allowed; if possible just select as few as possible.
3. Read as much as you can :-)

VicidialNow 1.3 - No Dialing through Vicidial Web Interface

Hi ALL,

I just have installed VicidialNow 1.3

I can make manual calls through Softphone but, with Vicidial Web Interface I can't:

1. CLI shows conference is created but, I cannot hear the "you are currently the only person in this conference". I do hear this recording but after like 10 to 15 minutes.

2. In the CLI I can see the call is being dialed and Answered but I cannot hear the customer or anything.

3. When I Log-out of the Vicidial Web Interface the X-Lite does not get hang-up, it stays connected in the conference.
