vicidial homeoffice x lite/eyebeam configuration

Postby trandos » Tue Sep 28, 2010 6:17 am

hallo

local is all ready and all mt agents can call without problems.

now i want to configure some agents from home to connect with the campaigne.

i work with dyndns for my local internetsite because i have a dynamic ip adress. so the agents can log into the agent interface.

what are the right x lite configurations for that agents?

they put my daily ip adress as domain, and use proxy 192.168.1.2 but they cannot be connected

1) do not "bump" your own thread. it can cause you to be ignored (like today, for instance ... :roll: )

2)

when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and OS with kernel or version, vicidial version and build, asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box.

Similar to This:
Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X Build XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

3) the only difference is that they are outside your firewall and not inside. so you will need to be sure NAT is selected for each of the agents phone setups and they will have to access your system through ONLY the outer IP address or FQDN. Beware that if both you and they have firewalls (routers that have different internal networks not directly on the web) the router MUST be able to handle SIP or the sound will never be transmitted (SIP is not capable of double NATing, so the router must enhance the ability or it cannot be done). IAX does not have this problem (zoiper, kiax).

are you sure that is the only difference?

what about the configuration of xlite?

phone login the same and as domain my ip adress ?? no proxy to my server adress ?

your server IS the proxy. if you require a STUN server due to double natting, you have to build one.

the nophone works very nice in agc interface but if i i change to agc2 agent interface then it doesnt works.

i only put a 2 after the agc to change the interface probably that is the problem ?

can i only use the nophone in the old agent interface.

is there a list somewhere? does gardo have one running in the goautodial forum?

you should post this note on the goautodial forum ... gardo might fix it and pop in a bug fix release. :)

I know of about 5 different things now that have been reported to not work on the altered agent interface. I don't have a specific detailed list, but there are postings about them here on the forums.

agc2 is not compatible with 2.2

Grab the new ISO with the final 2.0 release of goautodial.

This will have

agc.new/

instead of

agc2

and the agc.new/ version of the client will work with 2.2
Vicibox 6.0.4 from .iso | VERSION: 2.12-538a BUILD: 160122-1401 | Asterisk 1.8.32.3-vici | 1xDB, 2xWeb, 7xPBX | Amfeltec Timers | Sangoma/Lyra AMD | Dell Hardware

And did you copy it over the old agc2 folder or did you go ahead and copy it to "agc.new" as it was where it came from? :)

actually, either way should work, but for the next guy ...

i changed the name from agc.new to agc, and the old agc to agcold.
renaming and transfering it with winscp really easy way.

everything is fine ! but its importent to change the old one first i think.

i changed it to agc because the link if you press the agent login button go direct to agc.

now iam look to disable the other bottons so that i have only the agent login and admin login in the screen.

use winscp to download the welcome.php file and edit it and then put it back. It's just an html file.

if you have a file in the vicidial folder named welcome.php that you cannot change, you need to change your permissions to allow yourself to change it or you need to log in as a different user who DOES have permission to change it.

i have that file welcom.php and the permission to change it but there is only this...

echo "<title>ViciDial Welcome</title>\n";
echo "</head>\n";
echo "<BODY BGCOLOR=WHITE MARGINHEIGHT=0 MARGINWIDTH=0>\n";
echo "<BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><CENTER><TABLE WIDTH=300 CELLPADDING=0 CELLSPACING=0 BGCOLOR=\"#CCCCCC\"><TR BGCOLOR=WHITE>";
echo "<TD ALIGN=LEFT VALIGN=BOTTOM><IMG SRC=\"../agc/images/vdc_tab_vicidial.gif\" BORDER=0></TD>";
echo "<TD ALIGN=CENTER VALIGN=MIDDLE> Welcome </TD>";
echo "</TR>\n";
echo "<TR><TD ALIGN=CENTER COLSPAN=2><font size=1> &nbsp; </TD></TR>\n";
echo "<TR><TD ALIGN=CENTER COLSPAN=2><font size=3><b> <a href=\"../agc/vicidial.php\">Agent Login</a> </TD></TR>\n";
echo "<TR><TD ALIGN=CENTER COLSPAN=2><font size=1> &nbsp; </TD></TR>\n";
echo "<TR><TD ALIGN=CENTER COLSPAN=2><font size=3><b> <a href=\"../agc/timeclock.php?referrer=welcome\"> Timeclock</a> </TD></TR>\n";
echo "<TR><TD ALIGN=CENTER COLSPAN=2><font size=1> &nbsp; </TD></TR>\n";
echo "<TR><TD ALIGN=CENTER COLSPAN=2><font size=3><b> <a href=\"../vicidial/admin.php\">Administration</a> </TD></TR>\n";
echo "<TR><TD ALIGN=CENTER COLSPAN=2><font size=1> &nbsp; </TD></TR>\n";
echo "</TABLE>\n";
echo "</FORM>\n\n";
echo "</body>\n\n";
echo "</html>\n\n";

so that may be the wrong welcome.php or another html script are the right.

of course i didn't build your system or configure your web folders ... and that's not Vicibox's default location.

but:
Code: Select all
locate welcome.php
should find all the welcome.php files on your system so you can edit them all until you find the right one (assuming, of course, you are VIEWING a file named welcome.php, and that's what you want to edit :) )

I See. The nature of not using "Vicibox" or a stock "Vicidial" installation.

_____________

when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and OS with kernel or version, vicidial version and build, asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box.

Similar to This:
